How much does a private karaoke room cost?

Start with the room rate
Private karaoke is commonly booked by the room and by the hour. That is different from paying for each song or buying one ticket per guest. A larger group shares the same room charge, so the per-person estimate depends on both the rate and the number of guests.
For the Next Place concept, the current planning target starts around $59 per room per hour. That is an early target, not a published booking price. Final rates may differ by room size, day, time, and booking length.
A simple split example
At a $59 room rate, six friends splitting one hour evenly would pay about $9.84 each before any taxes, fees, or optional purchases. Eight friends would split the same room rate to about $7.38 each.
Those numbers are illustrations only. When reservations open, use the full checkout total—not just the headline room rate—to decide the actual split.
What can change the total
Room capacity is one factor: a larger celebration room may carry a different rate than an intimate room. Popular evening periods may also be priced differently from quieter hours. Some venues set minimum booking lengths or have separate policies for extensions.

- Optional food, beverage, or add-ons if offered
Plan for the whole group
Confirm the guest count before choosing a room, then agree on how the group will split the total. Booking a room that fits everyone matters more than squeezing toward the lowest individual estimate.
