Terms of use

These terms govern use of the Next Place website and free Early Access while the private-karaoke concept is being developed.

Effective September 1, 2026

The concept and this website

Next Place is a private-room karaoke concept being planned for Portland, Maine. This site shares planning information and lets people join Early Access. It does not represent that a venue is open, secured, licensed, or accepting reservations.

Concept renderings, room names, layouts, capacities, equipment, prices, benefits, and timelines are illustrative planning material and may change. Confirmed booking information will be presented separately before any reservation is accepted.

Early Access

Early Access is free. Providing an email lets us send meaningful progress plus launch and booking announcements. It does not reserve a room, guarantee availability, create priority over other users, or require a future purchase.

You must provide an email address you are authorized to use and may not submit addresses for other people without permission. You can unsubscribe through a link in marketing email or through the unsubscribe page.

Founding Membership

Founding enrollment is currently disabled. Recording interest is not a purchase and does not create membership rights. The intended $5 offer, if activated, would include an opportunity to book before general reservations and 20% off the member’s first booking.

Before accepting payment, we will present the controlling offer, redemption, timing, availability, expiration, and refund terms. Those final terms may differ from early planning language, and you will be able to review them before checkout.

Acceptable use

You may use this site for lawful personal or business-inquiry purposes. Do not interfere with the site, evade access or request controls, test vulnerabilities without written authorization, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, scrape personal information, or use forms to send spam or abusive content.

We may restrict access, discard abusive submissions, or take other reasonable steps to protect the service and its users.

Site content and intellectual property

The site design, copy, NEXT PLACE wordmark, concept imagery, and other original materials are owned by Next Place or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. You may view and share links to public pages for ordinary informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, sell, misrepresent, or create a confusingly similar commercial experience from the site materials without permission. References to third-party services or marks belong to their respective owners.

Third-party services and links

The site relies on service providers and may link to third-party sites. Their availability, security, content, and policies are outside our control. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms.

Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that planning details will become a finished venue, that a particular opening or booking opportunity will occur, or that all content is free from error.

Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. You are responsible for verifying current details before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Next Place and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this informational site. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the site and concept change. The effective date will be revised when we do. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use; separate transactional terms will govern any future purchase.

Use the contact form for questions about these terms. The private recipient address is not published to reduce spam and abuse.
